Cape Cod Getaway, June 28-29
To benefit the National MS Society. A few Team Bike Alley members are planning to be a part of it and are asking you to join them in trying to create a world free of MS by riding alongside them or by making a contribution to support their efforts.

Why not join Team BA members on the day of the event? Become a participant and we can work together. Click here for more information or to register.

The Prouty Ultimate, July 11-12, 2008
A new Double Century Ride takes place in New Hampshire on July 11 and 12. Like the Pan Mass Challenge, this is a two-day, 200 mile ride to benefit cancer research. Unlike the Pan Mass Challenge, it ain’t flat.

This is the first year for the Prouty Ultimate so they have limited spots for 100 riders to make sure they do it right. Visit their website to check out the profile and learn more about the event or Email Event Director Charlie Kimbell for more information.

'09 4-Day American Cancer Society Ride
This ride is in the planning stages, will take place in 2009, and will follow a course through VT, NH and MA. Stops will include 3 Hope Lodges in Burlington, VT, Worcester and Boston, MA, where those battling cancer away from home can stay.

They need lots of help to pull off a ride of this magnitude, so if you're interested in volunteering or riding, contact Holly Randall or visit their website.

New England Classic 150/550, July 12-18
Also to be ridden by Team BA members, this Tour de Cure cycling event to benefit the American Diabetes Association includes 2-day/150 mile or 7-day/550 mile options. For more information, visit their website.

2008 Mt. Washington Century Ride, Saturday, August 2, 2008
Registration for the 2008 Mt. Washington Cantury Ride is open!
The century benefits the Tin Mountain Conservation Center. The ride is supported with five aid stations along the 40-mile, 80-mile, and 100-mile course routes, support vehicles with Ham radio operators, two on-duty EMTs, and a bike repair support van.

The 105-mile route around Mt. Washington leaves the Conway area on the Kancamagus Highway, over Bear Notch Road to Bartlett, follows Rt. 302 through Crawford Notch to Rt. 115 in Twin Mountain, along Rt. 115 to Rt 2 past Jefferson Notch and into Gorham before heading south on Rt. 16 past the Mt. Washington Auto Road and over Pinkham Notch. From Pinkham Notch, the route drops into Glen and back to the Conway area via Rt. 16 and the scenic West Side Road.
